Aurora Borealis
My six years in Alaska gave many lasting memories but none as powerful and majestic as seeing the Northern Lights. The movement of streaks of light across a dark canvas sky, witnessed on clear, cold winter nights, standing on a still, snow-covered earth, reveals the profoundly simple connections of humanity, nature and cosmos.

Finite infinity... The firmament quenches the urge for exploration and mystery. How might our universe appear to the thirsty eye?

Hearts and Goddesses
Representations of the human heart make me think
about the dual nature of human expression; the order and symmetry
of two sides, and the flowing crescendo from bottom to top.
Like yin and yang they form a perfect whole. Two hearts, one
atop another, create the mythical Goddess form; her power comes
from the heart.

Berries Extraordinaires
Sensual and bursting with flavor,
berries are a product of a living plant
and the seeds are promising future life.
My designs are abstractions of berry shapes and forms
utilizing natural properties of glass.
I like how the eye is drawn in, curious about the flavor
contained in each of these clusters.
These beads are also available etched.
